Soy is Harmful to Thyroid Function
Non-fermented soy products induce hypothyroidism in patients previously not exhibiting thyroid disorders and inhibit the effectiveness of thyroid medications. Avoiding non-fermented soy foods is the safest way to avoid the damaging effects. Most importantly, avoid soy infant formula.
