December 19 2008 Vegetarian Newsletter

Greetings!

I'm truly excited about this week's article and newly formed New Year's Resolutions Community! 2009 is going to be a powerful year and we're going to continue to peel back the layers to set the correct foundation for success.

Many of us have experienced our share of setbacks when it comes to making and keeping our New Year's Resolutions, but I believe it is due to how we've been framing them. This article addresses that and then some as it reduces the 'resolution' to it's simpler components and steps out the easy to grasp plan of action that will bridge the gap from 'wishful thinking', when it comes to your resolutions, to success and in a big way.

Let me know how this impacts you. And if you can see yourself using this concept to actually live your resolutions... let me know that too.

FOOD TIP:
----------------------------

Prepare each portion of your meal as if it were meant to be eaten alone. Add to it variety, texture, organic freshness and creativity. This way you make sure that each dish is packed full of color, flavor and is nutrient dense. When I cook at home I'm known as the 'shortcut king'. And although I'm all about the convenience... I'm all about the nutrition as well. So to make sure I get my full amount of nutrients I make sure each dish is a complete stand alone meal. Keep coming back and you'll see an article on this very topic in the coming months, but for starters, try adding nuts/seeds, fresh herbs, fruits and/or veggies to your plain grain dishes. Nutrition and great presentation... You can't beat that!

Last week:

- This week I felt very draggy. I felt like I couldn't get enough sleep [maybe cause I wasn't getting any sleep.] ;-) A lot of things are converging, getting planned and finalized for 2009 and beyond. Real Brain Throb! -but all good!!!

so, without further ado...
