An eye on Vision Issues!
Volume 5; Issue 3: Week of May 26 to June 1, 2013.
Happy Memorial Day weekend!
Students all over the world are going through the graduation process from kindergarten to college. This is an exciting time for children, teenagers and adults alike. I would like to offer my congratulations to all graduates. I wish for you all the best in the future.
If you plan to celebrate please do so in a safe manner. My heart is always broken when I hear about a young person who lost his or her life immediately after graduating due to unsafe practices from a graduation party. Have a great time but be safe!

ATI Weekly Update:
This week in my assistive technology program the topics included Word 2010 editing, printing and styles. In addition, the topic of learning to recommend assistive technology, the different categories of assistive technology (specifically note takers) and writing an assessment were covered. I have discovered a host of assistive technology available that I did not know existed.
Until next week – Have a great week!
