Greetings,
Did you miss me last week? I was taking a quick vacation to Washington State to visit family. I apologize for forgetting to give you advance notice that you wouldn't be receiving the newsletter from me.
In case you missed it, the article I posted last week was about whale watching. And, as an aside, I was in Todo Santos on the Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula a couple of weekends a go and we spotted several grays spouting and showing tails. I love seeing them. I hope you will get a chance to see them on their way back north. Here's that article.
Whale Watching and Whale Festivals
Some of our most famous west coast travelers are the amazing gray whales. Spotting them is thrilling and the festivals that honor them are fun too.

And, here's the latest article from the West Coast Travel site at BellaOnline.com.
West Coast Tulip Festivals
Nothing signifies spring like field upon field of brightly colored tulips. Naturally it calls for a festival and you can find one during March and April in the Skagit Valley and Woodland, Washington, in Woodburn, Oregon and in Nice, California.
