Hello! I hope your week is going well.
A new article is out for you to read now!
If you're taking a trip to Southern California, read this week's article. Make plans to include the Channel Islands National Park in your sightseeing schedule.
One of the islands in the Park, Santa Cruz, hosts the only population of Island Scrub Jays found (in the world, I believe). I took a trip to Santa Cruz Island to search out this rare species some time ago. I found it waiting on a park bench, begging for food, similar to the behavior of mainland Blue Jays. In this article, we are visiting neighboring Anacapa Island.
Day Trip to Anacapa Island in Southern California
What a national treasure! If you are a bird watcher, wildflower enthusiast, scuba diver, kayaker, sea lover, or all of the above, Anacapa Island is a "must see" experience when you visit Southern California.
