Remember what Oscar Wilde said about art? That’s right. He said many things. Including the phrase about how “All art is quite useless”. In the present day, the condition of art deteriorates even more than at the turn of the 20th century. Who needs portraits, if there’s digital photography? Who needs illustrated books if there’s graphic design? Well, the answer is simple. The starting point of any artistic endeavor is artism. That’s the very essence of art. Every graphic representation, every figment of our imagination, and almost every human thought is encompassed by its artistic value. Is art useless? I certainly don’t think so. I believe art is not just a fancy of the past but that it’s the area of our lives which can be deemed crucial, practical and exceptionally universal. If you are a believer too – join my adventure.
I will do my best to provide the site with diversified content. I am, however, interested in the interdisciplinary aspect of arts. That is why; my articles will cover a wide variety of topics: philosophy, fiction featuring arts and artists, reviews of movies, books as well as criticisms. To promote high-quality in the sphere of artistic creativity as well as professionalism, I will be posting also product and service reviews – but only on non-commercial basis and only to parties agreeing to grant me free access to any necessary materials.
