Origin Of Family

Billy Manas

A labored sigh
A wink
A groan
You and I
The Holy Om
We fail, we try
We gaze at sky
The great unknown
Someplace where the eagle flies
Valiant and alone
We transcend the crowds
The mocking tones
The acid masses glued to phones
We sleep a sleep, a dreamless
Sleep- a sleep just like a stone
Wake up to monotonous clocks
They tick, they tock, they drone
When we meet each other´s eyes
We see how love has grown
From rusty lust, awake, non-plussed
Soft like the whispered moans
That built this life that we now live
The coos from seeds we´ve sown
