The Stairway by Debi Gardiner

Poetry

Diptych in Haiku Squares (CCXLV & CCXLVI)

David Edwards

I am tormented
by the thought that all
is not as it should be... that
insignificant somethings
-- however slightly--
are somehow awry:
that the color and
countenance of bark
upon trees near my window
at next sunrise will not be
identical to
their visage of now.
