Nothing

David Flynn

1. Purge the soul, for nobody wants it.
2. White the soul must be, for empty is the Lord.
3. Shake the body free of desire, as desperation is the end of delight.
4. Friends, family leave, so leave them first.
5. Wealth buys love, stranger or kindred; buy loneliness instead.
6. Self is our house, bedless and black, age our reward.
7. Throw want into health, and hell results.
8. Personal hells rise round us in every eye.
9. Be flat, like abstract lines on flat, white paper.
10. To be ready for death means to be lost, ready to be found.
