Angela Penticuff

Clear, gelatinous moon jellies,
fragmented on the shore, stone broken, water torn,
Glitter in ragged lines where sand and water meet,
Crystal soft pearls fit for the queen of tides.

Some arrive intact: shining, whisper pink diaphragms,
Evidence of the deep, rocking secrets of the sea.
