November Tree

Samantha Hunt

In
states
of decay the
fruit lies scattered
under the apple tree
but looking up I see three
perfect fruits like baubles on
a Christmas tree, clinging to
the branch in a strange
endurance test. Who
will be the last? Or
will you all agree to
JUMP because
your time
has

Reader Feedback:
I love this poem. Lovely wording, then PASSED as the trunk. Nice job.
~Carol

Interesting poem. Reminds me of the author Ellen Hopkins writing style, though I think Ellen borrowed her style from poetry.
