The 5 Lessons A Millionaire Taught Me About Life and Wealth by Richard Paul Evans is short, sweet and to the financial point. Even if you’ve read financial books before, this one is worth reading. I sat down and read it in a few hours. My overall impression - a positive read about wealth building.

The author, Jill Keto, believes “the economy is falling apart…but that doesn’t mean you have to.” She also believes that with knowledge, positive action and common sense we women can weather the storm and may be even come out ahead financially. That’s a tall order for one paperback book.

Prince Charming Isn’t Coming – A Review star
The Seattle Times reviewed Barbara Stanny’s book Prince Charming Isn’t Coming and said, “A heart-to-heart talk about the psychological and financial tools women need to take control of their economic destiny.” I agree and that’s why it is our Book Club Selection for July.

Suzy Orman - Women and Money - A Review star
How many of us wish we had a better grip on our personal finances? Maybe you’ll be as fascinated by the title as I was, Women and Money: Owning the Power to Control Your Destiny. This sounded like something I could find very interesting – money, power and my destiny. I started reading.

The House of Mirth - A Review star
This best selling classic was written in 1905 and is a great portrait of how women perceived their financial role in turn of the century American society.

Who hasn’t heard of the classic book, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill? Is it a book about positive thinking or is it a book about wealth building? The answer: Both! After seventy years, this book is still selling millions of copies worldwide and for good reason.

Larry Winget pulls no punches. This isn’t your average personal finance book – it’s a mix of tough love, personal development and financial self-help. If you’re serious, really serious about getting your financial house in order, this book is for you.
