Continued  Just last week I commented on A-Rod’s fast start and dubbed him “Mr. April”. He’s accomplished so much in the subsequent week that I feel compelled to expand my commentary. One and a Half Weeks , One and a Half Games!  There is a week and a half left in the season. Three division races involve a lead of one and a half games and Arizona leads San Diego by a slim one half game. Similarly, the NL wild card is looking Sox Kids Rock Cleveland  The Red Sox stood on the edge of elimination for the third straight game and emerged victorious, led by a couple of rookies, rather than Big Papi and Manny. The Best Rivalry in Baseball – the Yankees and Red Sox  The Yankees and the Red Sox have a historical and entertaining rivalry. With their off-season moves, both look strong going into 2007. Here´s a perspective on the rivalry. The Most Expensive Conversation in Baseball  MLB announced that the Red Sox have won the bidding for the right to negotiate with pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka for the amazing sum of $51.1 million. This money is paid to Matsuzaka’s team, the Seibu Lions. It will be returned if the Red Sox and Matsuzaka cannot arrive at a contract in 30 days.
