About Her Circle Ezine [offsite link] "Exploring the feminine experience in the world community" They strive to unite women from different cultures by sharinging essays, fiction, poetry, art and photography by women around the globe. Each issue covers 4 themes: Breaking Form, What She Knows, War Cry, Transcending Bounds. Alaska Quarterly Review [offsite link] "A literary magazine of consequence." Antigonish Review [offsite link] A Canadian quarterly literary journal published by St. Francis Xavier University. Features poetry, fiction, reviews and critical articles from international writers. Antioch Review [offsite link] 60+ year old American Literary Magazine. Highlights fiction, essays, and poetry from both emerging as well as established authors. A few pieces from each issue are viewable each season. Online subscription available. Bellingham Review [offsite link] Western Washington University´s literary publication. Bound Off [offsite link] A new monthly literary audio magazine that features literary short fiction via podcasts. Capilano Review [offsite link] A Canadian magazine founded in 1972. This print publication focuses on the "finest fiction, poetry, drama, and visual art in Canada and throughout the world". The website lists contributor bios, excerpts, subscription information and close-ups of previous covers. Carve Magazine [offsite link] "An online literary magazine that publishes short fiction on a quarterly basis." Chattahoochee Review [offsite link] Run out of Georgia Perimeter College. This literary magazine features poetry, fiction, nonfiction, interviews, reviews, and graphic work. They´re under new management and have a new website.
Chicago Review [offsite link] The University of Chicago´s literary magazine. Danforth Reviews [offsite link] This Canadian Literary magazine features fiction, interviews and commentary. Their site shows a nice sampling of international work and a little literary news. Descant [offsite link] Thirty year old quarterly journal highlighting contemporary writers and visual artists from Canada and around the world. Five Points Journal of Literature and Art [offsite link] This American magazine was founded in 1996 by Georgia State University. It spotlights fiction, poetry, essays, photographs, artwork, and interviews. They also have a literary award. Some of their work is online. Fridge Magazine [offsite link] Online zine that publishes every two months. Literal Latte Literary Magazine  The paper version of the Literal Latte debuted back in June 1994 in the literary mecca of New York City. They printed their last print publication in July 2003 but have continued the online entity they started November 1996 ever since. The Literal Latte´s online presence has seen various incarnation North Carolina Literary Review [offsite link] "A cross between a scholarly journal and a literary magazine." North American Review [offsite link] Published by the University of Northern Iowa. Pif Magazine [offsite link] A monthly literary journal featuring "short stories, micro fiction, novel excerpts, poetry, hypertext, creative non-fiction, memoir, book reviews, zine reviews, interviews, and other literary commentary". Ploughshares [offsite link] This literary journal from Emerson College has been publishing poems and stories since 1971. Room of One´s Own [offsite link] Canadian publication featuring poetry, short stories and reviews by women from all over the world. Publishes four issues a year. Adult content. The Georgia Review [offsite link] Award winning literary magazine with poetry, art, short stories and essays. The Kenyon Review [offsite link] Literary magazine of Kenyon College, Ohio. The Missouri Review [offsite link] The University of Missouri literary magazine, focusing on fiction, poetry and essays. The Paris Review [offsite link] Contemporary literary magazine. The Sun - Literary Magazine  This ad-free literary magazine was founded in 1974 by Sy Safransky and focuses on essays, interviews, fiction, and poetry as well as intriguing photos. The Sun produces twelve issues per year and offers yearly subscriptions Three Penny Review [offsite link] This highly notable magazine features poetry, short fiction, memoirs, and essays. Be sure to check out their Reading Room. What If Magazine  What If? is a Creative Magazine for Canadian teens ages twelve and up. It was founded in 2003 and is published out of Guelph, Ontario.
