World AIDS Day is December 1, its theme for 2010 is “Universal Access and Human Rights.” It is apropos that December is Universal Human Rights Month. With so much unrest going on in the world, this is a good time to think about human rights for all people.

First and foremost leave your prejudices’ outside of the door. If you don’t want your kid to say it, you should not say it. Do not allow your own prejudice what ever it may be, race, religion, social status; or the way you view the opposite sex, to color your child’s view of the world.

Make time work for you and with you instead of against you. Yes, you can make time your friend by organizing your day.

Bake this treat for your family. Hamentaschen are delicious little 3 cornered buttery cookies. You may find them in some supermarkets, I have found that they are most available during Jewish holidays. Some bakeries sell them year round, however they can be quite expensive.
