The House will soon be voting whether to ban partial-birth abortion. The bill will most likely be approved, according to political analysts. A resolute pro-lifer, President Bush has made no secret that he is ready and willing to sign it into law.
Abortion rights activists are infuriated by the move, claiming that it’s one step closer to completely outlawing abortion. They are absolutely right. Let’s do our part and keep that train rolling while it has momentum. Call your representative and ask them to support the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act (H.R. 760). The Capitol switchboard can be contacted by calling 202-224-3121 Please ask them to pass the bill in it’s current form, not with addendum or concessions to dilute its original purpose.
Also, please, please vote. Take a stand for what you believe in and elect moral people into office. Do it on a city, state and national level. No election is too small; every single one counts. Just think, even getting the zoning changed in your town can prevent an abortion clinic from being established. Remember, the motto here is “Saving One Life At A Time.” We cannot change everything overnight. If we look at the big picture and battle steadily, we can win the war on abortion.
