Victorious Living

In life we will always have trials and tribulations according to

John 16:33
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation;"

In other words you will have problems and with the problems comes choices to make in dealing with those problems. Some of the choices available will be good, some bad, some right, some wrong, some are for now and some decisions you can save for later. Sometimes when you look back on specific problems you might still wonder if you made the right choice. When you look into the stories in the Bible there were always situations and decisions to be made just like it is today.

Take a look at Moses when he led the Israelites out of captivity he was a hero. He was the man until they reached the Red Sea where The Red Sea was in front of them and the Egyptian soldiers were behind them. Now his status changed in the eyes of his people. They became angry that they had been led out of captivity just to die. Do you think that at that time they began to question themselves? Do you think they began to ask why did they listen to Moses? Do you think they began to say we should have just stayed where we were a least we were alive?

Of course they did and it will not be the only time they will ask those same questions during their 40 years wandering around the wilderness. Moses knew that God had not gotten them to this place which truly appeared to be a major problem to let them die althouhh It definitely looked like insurmountable odds.

These people who had been slaves are not only free but rich are now in a place where all the silver, gold, diamonds and precious jewels were not going to be able to save them. This is a prime example that money does not take care of every situation because they had lots of wealth at this point.

God had a crazy solution to open the Red Sea and let them walk across on dry land. I bet that was a solution that none of them had thought of.

Exodus 14:16
"Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground."

That is the same God we serve today. Do you think He has lost some power since then? Do you think that the problems you are facing today are bigger than that? So if our God was able to have a solution for them, he has a solution for you today. I don’t know what your problems are or the troubles you are facing but I do know that we serve an awesome God and we serve the same God as Moses did.

If you trust in God with your whole heart, just know God has a plan and you will come out victorious.

God Bless!
