Beck is a member of the Passionist community and for many years traveled throughout the country preaching and organizing retreats. St. Joseph's New American Bible - Student Edition is the Bible I personally have and really like. It has good size, easy to read print - many of them have such small print. It also includes a Bible dictionary, index, maps and very good cross references and footnotes.

Jesus of Nazareth
Award winning film produced by Franco Zeffirelli, depicts the life of Jesus Christ from birth to resurrection. Robert Powell stars as Jesus, Olivia Hussey as Mary, and the film features a cast of many other distinguished actors as well. Originally made for television in 1977, this set is available on DVD or VHS. It's been a few years since I last watched this awesome depiction of Christ's life, but it still remains my favorite.
Passion of the Christ
