Landing Page Sample 1 - Book App
So, how does a landing page showcase your book app?
Every design element on the page displays important information about your app and gives the viewer reason to click that button to purchase your app. Begin with your app's Application Icon next to the name of your book app at the top of the page. The iconic square and rounded corners leaves no question that your book app is meant for iPad and other mobile devices.Under the App Icon is a graphic of an iPad or iPhone. On the iPad or iPhone screen will be a slideshow of the best screenshots from your book app. Another option is to place your YouTubeTM or VimeoTM book trailer video in this spot. Next to this display are your Apple, Android and other App Store "Available on the App Store" badge links, making it easy for the visitor to click and buy your book app after viewing the slideshow or video.
You will also want a description or synopsis of your book app, emphasizing what makes your book app special. Follow this with a list of the app's important features, testimonials and reviews. For cross marketing purposes, you will have links to your author website, your app's Facebook Fan page, Twitter page, YouTubeTM channel and other information.
Below are listed the items that you will need to build your custom landing page. If you have already listed your app in the AppleR store, you probably have these graphics and information. If not, see the App Development Resources page (see Index below) for more information.
