This smoothie recipe melts the bright citrus of lime with the rich health benefits of pomegranate. Tasty, and good for you too!

Ingredients:
1/2 banana - 64g
1/2 cup blueberry - 83g
8 strawberries - 320g
6-8 baby carrots - 60g
handful spinach - 60g
1/4 cup pomegranate - 34g
1 cup unsweetened almond milk - 234g
1 scoop vanilla protein powder - 35g
1 Tbsp lime juice - 15g
1 Tbsp agave - 20g
ice
Our Blendtec will chew right through the ice. If you're using a different blender, you might want to pre-crush it. Other than that, everything pretty much goes right into the blender and the button is pressed. A few minutes later, the smoothie is ready!
This makes two servings of shake. The values per serving are:

fat: 2.0
cholesterol: 31.8
sodium: 198.6
total carb: 38.2
fiber: 6.3
net carb: 31.8
protein: 14.7
vitamin C: 148%
So you're getting great protein, fiber, and vitamin C here. The carb values aren't appropriate for induction, but they're fine for many other stages. This is a good smoothie to have on your list of options because of the many great ingredients in here - spinach, carrot, pomegranate, blueberry, plus that lime juice too. If you like your flavors citrussy you can definitely increase the lime quantity to kick that up a notch. Feel free to experiment!
