WINDOW is one of my favorites. I found myself listening to it several times.
You will not be able to WALK AWAY from this CD. AVALANCHE, another up-tempo song, had me bopping my head.

I recently interviewed Ms. Marks for BellaOnline.

Q: Tell us about your self-titled new CD—JENNIFER MARKS.

A: It is hard for me to describe. I mainly try to be honest. Whether the songs are from experiences I have had personally or stories of my friends they are all about things I can relate to.

Q: What can listeners expect different from this CD than from IT TURNED ME ON?

A: It Turned Me On was a little rougher around the edges. I guess you could say I put on a little Lip gloss and mascara for this CD. Not that it is made up; it’s just a little more polished.

Q: I know you normally do most of your writing. Did you also do most of the writing on this one and/or did you collaborate with other writers?

A: I wrote some of the songs by myself and some with co-writers. I really enjoy co-writing. I get to hang with my friends and benefit from their talents as well…what more could a girl ask for?

Q: Now that you have the new CD coming out, when can we expect to see you on tour?

A: I am very fortunate to have the support of Barnes and Noble. In May, I will be performing at a bunch of their stores throughout the US.

Q: What else would you like for the public to know about not only Jennifer Marks, the singer, but the person?

A: I love dogs, good food, and hanging out with my family and friends. I am a complete klutz and say the stupidest things at the worst times. I love watching The Price is Right…it’s fun to see people win things. I’m a sucker for a good romantic chick flick or an AT&T or KODAK commercial…they will always make me cry.
