After having survived yet another unbearable summer with the Dursley's, Harry Potter is now 13. Joining his friends, Hermione and Ron for a new semester at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry is elated to be back among the wizarding world. But their heartfelt reunion turns slightly chilly when the Hogwarts-bound train encounters blood-chilling dementors, a highly-morbid bunch of phantoms who normally guard the prison of Azkaban, but are now in pursuit of the notorious escapee known as Sirius Black.

The wizarding world believes that Black is responsible for the deaths of Harry's parents and is now looking to finish off the Potter family by murdering their heir, Harry. But, when they finally come face to face, Harry notices that Sirius has no interest in killing him, but is much more interested in Ron's pet rat, Scabbers, who is really Sirius' former classmate, Padfoot. Rattled and confused, Harry questions Sirius about his parent's death, where secrets and truths about Harry's mysterious past are revealed. All of this becomes possible with the help of Ron and Hermione, Hagrid and Professor Dumbledore, who removes pesty obstacles and provides linear time constraints.

In the Prisoner of Azkaban, you can definitely tell that Harry's well into his adolescence years. Her's much more rebellious and unable to control his teenage temper or angst. He's changed in ways that everyone can relate to. Harry has become this feisty teenager who no longer cares about pleasing everyone around him. But, just as Harry has developed, so has his friends, Hermione and Ron, as well as the young actors who portray these fascinating characters.
