I’ve only been to Las Vegas once however I remember that there seemed to be an endless amount of things to do. Although that’s mostly gambling related things, there is also a ton of free things that you can do when you are in Las Vegas.

*Visit the Botanical Gardens at the Bellagio Conservatory. There are tons of plants, flowers and trees for you to admire. There is usually a specific theme on exhibit where everything is made from flowers. There are also animal-shaped trees that make great photo opportunities.

*Visit the world’s largest Atrium at the Luxor. The Luxor is shaped like a pyramid and the Atrium is located one floor above the casino. If you’d like there is shopping and a food court. In the Atrium you can also see the elevators traveling sideways, taking hotel guests to their rooms.

*Stop by the Dancing Fountains at the Bellagio. As a non-gambler, this was one of my favorite things to see in Las Vegas. The Dancing Fountains can be seen outside of the Bellagio hotel. You can enjoy watching this water show that comes complete with opera, classical and Broadway tunes. The water show plays at various times throughout the day.

*Turn up the heat with the volcanic eruption at the Mirage hotel. This is a great attraction that runs nightly from 5pm to 11pm.

*Enjoy the sereneness of the Aquarium at the Silverton Hotel. The Aquarium is open 24 hours and throughout the afternoons and evenings from Thursday through Sunday, women dressed as mermaids join the fish for a 15-minute show.

*Check out the Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo Hotel. In addition to seeing Chilean Flamingos, you’ll see swans, ducks, koi fish and turtles all enjoying their habitat. There is also a nice, serene waterfall that relaxes you.

*Watch the Fall of Atlantis Fountain Show at the Caesar Palace. The show recounts the myth of Atlantis. When the show is over, you can walk behind the fountain and check out tons of fish in the 50,000 salt water aquarium. This show plays every hour during the daytime but you will want to get there early as the show fills up quickly.
