If you're a fan of chocolate pudding, you're normally stuck with high sugar content. Kozy Shack makes a version with no sugar added, perfect for chocolate lovers of all ages.
Flavored with Splenda, each container of pudding has 6g of net carbs - and remember, that's with no sugar at all added to it. That comes just from the natural products such as milk and cocoa that are in the mix. The extra sweetness comes from Splenda. Just compare that with the average sugar and carbs of your normal chocolate pudding - you're only at half or less!
The texture is just right, smooth and rich. The flavor is also rather good. It does have a bit of dustiness to it, but in general it is chocolatey and tasty. I fed this to teens who were quite happy to eat it. Believe me, if I have the choice of feeding high-sugar treats to my teens, or low sugar alternatives, I'll opt for the low sugar.
Of course, part of the aim of low carb is to wean you off of eating junk foods, but I acknowledge that there are times that you really want something chocolatey. If you're going to go for something sweet, at least you want to go for something low in sugar, rather than inhaling pure sugar as part of your craving. The Kozy Shack pudding is a good option in those situations.
