Cataract Awareness Month

National Immunization Awareness Month. Aug. 1-31. Each year in the United States, tens of thousands of people die because of vaccine-preventable diseases or their complications and even more experience pain, suffering and disability. National Minority Donor Awareness Day
Aug. 1. National MOTTEP is the National Minority Organ and Tissue Transplant Education Program. Among other things, it has been designed to eEducate minority communities on facts about organ and tissue transplantation and empower minority communities to develop transplant education programs which allow them to become involved in addressing the shortage of donors.
