Reaching Out lives up to its name. The site has support options including advocacy and assistance for the chronically ill and their caregivers.
The support groups will help you with every aspect of your life. Do you have a specific legal, insurance, medical or emergency issue?
Maybe you just need information on treatments and research, then, check out their what’s new page. They’ll hook you up to what’s going on in the world of FMS/CFS and other invisible illnesses.
Other areas to check out are the Poetry page and the Our Stories area.
You can even sign up to help others as well because the wonderful staff at Reaching Out obviously know that the greatest way to feel better is to take a step outside of yourself and give back.
With so much pain and negativity surrounding the lives of the chronically ill, I am glad that places like Reaching Out exist. I’ve got them book-marked in my web browser. I suggest you check them out – and return often. You never know when you’ll need them. I, for one, am glad that they’re there – and hope they’ll remain for a long time.
