Curing Yourself With Essential Oil Products

Is it possible to cure yourself with essential oil products that you can actually make yourself? If you take a look at how the ancestors dealt with discomforts in the body, a lot of what they used were remedies they made themselves. They used herbs, flowers, roots and bark and infused them in oils and water.

You can actually do the same thing. With the cost and misuse of conventional antibiotics, and the fact that they can be rough on the intestinal flora, more and more people are beginning to look for alternatives. Essential oils and plant extracts are becoming the alternative.

I’m going to share recipes that can help to prevent or get rid of bacterial infections and smell good also. These recipes were published in My Herbs, a magazine printed in the UK.

Nose Drops With Essential Oils.

0.7 fl oz/ 20ml cold-pressed vegetable oil
2 drops lavender essential oil
1 drop eucalyptus essential oil
1 drop chamomile essential oil (optional)

Pour the vegetable oil into a dropper bottle and drip the essential oils into it. Shake well an seal. Use according to need when ever you have a runny nose.

Ornament Against Respiratory Illnesses

1.7 fl oz /50 ml cold pressed vegetable oil (almond oil, ideally)
10 drops thyme essential oil
5 drops pine essential oil
5 drops tea tree essential oil

Drip the essential oils into the vegetable oil and stir well. Apply mixture to the chest and neck several times a day.

Antimicrobial Air Freshener

3.4 fl oz/100 ml water
10 drops oregano essential oil
10 drops lemon essential oil
10 drops fir needle essential oil

Drip the essential oils int water and pour into a spray bottle. shake well before use.

These recipes are easy and simple to make. They a great way of enjoying the beauty and benefits of essential oils when used in healthcare. That’s it for this week!
