Pho Bo is a beef soup. It is a traditional dish in Vietnam. No traveler should leave the Southeast Asian country without eating Pho Bo. It is served by both street vendors and the finest restaurants. The soup is found in all Vietnam provinces.
The soup consists of thinly slices of beef, boiled soya-beans and/or rice noodles. Rich broth covers everything. The soup is topped with slices of red peppers, green onions and wedges of lime or lemon.
Try the delicious soup. It is great with a cold beer. Remember hot food causes the traveler to perspire, thus cooling off the person.
