Black Music Month Celebration - Introducing B5

With their clear vocals and smooth dance moves, these five young men are well on the way to becoming a household name. Sean “P Diddy” Combs has done it again. He’s found the next R & B sensations – B5.

Shelia Goss: Please introduce yourselves.
B5: Dustin, 17, Kelly, 16, Patrick, 14, Carnell, 13, and Bryan 10

Shelia: Describe yourself using three words or less.
Dustin: Smooth, romantic, funny, & outgoing
Kelly: Funny, laid back & crazy
Patrick: Funny, outgoing & nice
Carnell: Sexy, smart & cool
Bryan: Handsome & smart

Shelia: Are you excited about your upcoming self-titled CD-B5?
B5: Yes…it’s hot. It has 12 crazy tracks and comes out on July 19th.

Shelia: What is your favorite song on the CD?
Dustin: So Pretty
Kelly: U Got Me
Patrick: Let it Be
Carnell: U Got Me
Bryan: All I Do

Shelia: How did B5 get started?
B5: It was our mother and aunt’s idea. We would dance and sing…did that to keep us out of trouble.

Shelia: Who came up with the name B5?
B5: Our manager…we became B5 when Bryan joined the group.

Shelia: When will you be going on tour?
B5: Right now we’re on a promotional tour…going to the radio stations & schools…doing summer jams.

Shelia: How do you juggle school with recording and touring?
B5: Go to Atlanta County Day School…have a tutor while on the road.

Shelia: Who’s the quietist?
Dustin, Kelly, Patrick, Bryan: Carnell (Carnell disagrees).

Shelia: I’ve saved the best question for last. The young ladies want to know if any of you have girlfriends?
B5 (unison): No…single and looking.

Bad Boy Entertainment’s, young new group, B5 is bringing a refreshing sound back to R & B. The debut single, “All I Do” is a remake of a Jackson Five song and is befitting for this talented group of five. B5’s innocence is not lost as they perform song after song.

B5, the CD, will be in stores on July 19th and makes the perfect gift for the teen in your life.
