The Phillips CDI once received high praise for being the latest in technology advancements but was it all that great?

It's release date sparked alot of interest but at £400 per console with only a few games to play, you have to ask was it worth being released?

Yes the games were fun and entertaining but compared to the Megadrive and other consoles you can see why it soon went out of fashion as quickly as it came in.

The only place these machines seem to appear are at car boot sales, attics or on Ebay.
