Probably the smallest system monitor utility available, TinyResMeter is instantly executed on any machine without the need to install the program. A small display interface contains a variety of information to keep you informed of the status and general well-being of your system.

What is your CPU usage and speed at any given moment? How much RAM are you using system-wide? What's your up Time? SwapFile and PageFile usage totals? Are you nearing your hard drive limit, and exactly how much space are you using?

These and other answers are available to you on demand. Utilizing approximately two by three inches in display space and residing anywhere on your screen, you can select the 'transparent' option to render the display invisible when you mouse-over.

Fully customizable, you can select the functions you want displayed on your personal TinyResMeter. Additionally, you can select your own color scheme for the border, background, and text, as well as font types. This helps make your display as unobtrusive as possible and in harmony with your screensaver/wallpaper.

A good point to check with any utility of this sort is - will it write or modify anything in your registry? TinyResMeter will NOT modify, write, or rewrite information or files in your registry.

As a bonus, you can hit the small icon in your address bar, press 'screenshots', then press your Print Screen button, and automatically save screenshots into .BMP files. Files will be automatically renamed, and you can access them at your leisure.

Because TinyResMeter is not installed, no startup entry is created. You must either reset the parameters after rebooting your system, or add it as a startup entry. It's so simple to set up, you can completely reset your preferences in less than a minute, if you choose not to add it to startup.
