Easter Pattern Roundup

My first crochet project was a scarf. My second was an amigurumi bunny. I love crocheting for holidays, and Easter is one of my favorites to crochet for! Living in Canada, Easter usually falls just as winter's grip is finally loosening, and I am all too eager to celebrate springtime, warmth, and new life.

I've pulled together a list of ten of my favorite free patterns for Easter. These can all be found on Ravelry, and can easily be stored to your favorites on that site. Of course, you can always refer back to this article for the list, as well!

These are in no particular order of favoritism, just patterns that have made me laugh, or given me an idea for an Easter gift. One small note: if you find yourself in a pinch without the recommended yarn, it's quite fun to make things giant or miniature by changing yarn and hook sizes!

Little Egg Baskets is an adorable pattern for miniature Easter baskets, just big enough to carry a single egg, and adorned with a crochet posy on the side. They're bright and cheery, quick and easy to make.

Eggmobile is a pattern for an industrious little bunny, hauling eggs in the trailer attached to his vehicle.

Bunny Ring
is a pattern for an amigurumi bunny you can wear as a ring. It's seriously so fun!

Easter Eggs is a pattern for elegant amigurumi Easter eggs. There are many patterns available online for Easter eggs, but these ones incorporate spring flowers embroidered delicately on the sides. Delightful!

Fabric Basket is a pattern for an egg hunting basket made from recycled fabric. It's similar in style to the crochet rag rug here on BellaOnline.

Easter Bunny is an adorable chubby bunny. No collection of Easter patterns would be complete without a bunny!

Easter Carrot is a quick and perfect carrot for your favorite Easter bunny!

Easter Peeps is a pattern for bunnies fashioned after the Peeps candies available around Easter time.

Easter Egglet is a pattern that appeals to the goofy side of me. It's an egg, with chicken feet. That is all.

And finally, Easter Egg Beanies made me laugh out loud when I saw it. Really, at Easter, what could be funnier to a fiber artist than eggs in hats adorned with giant pompoms?

Enjoy your holiday crafting, my fellow crochet lover!
