Matthew 5 : 16 - Faith Challenge

Scripture
Scripture art created by Krystal Hartley.

Matthew 5:16 - “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

There are so many women who make a difference in my life with their good examples. What a blessing these people are to me in my life. Blessings will come to others and our faith in Jesus Christ will grow when we let our lights shine.

Jesus Christ taught those who followed Him that they were “the light of the world.” He said that you don’t light candles and put them under baskets. When you light a candle, you put it on a candlestick so that it gives light to everyone in the room. He told us, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (see Matt. 5:16)

Scrapbook a layout using this scripture!

Shine Layout

I scrapbooked this page because I want to remind my daughter that using her talents is a way of letting her light shine. God has given her amazing musical talent. As she is getting older she is shying away from performing and sharing her talents. This photo is a couple of years old. It was taken at a time when she loved being on stage! I wanted to use this layout as a subtle reminder that using her God given talents is a way of letting her light shine!

This challenge was borrowed from FaithSisters.com

You can also view other layouts using Matthew 5:16 by visiting the Faith Sisters gallery! The gallery if full of lots of great faithbooking inspiration. While you are there, go ahead and join the community! There is a wonderful forum where so many Christian sisters have gathered.

Happy Faithbooking!
