Let's face it, Halloween is a great holiday for all. We know why it's the sweetest holiday for children, but for the fun loving adult it can also be a heck of a good time.

For us auto enthusiasts on Halloween, we can easily become our favorite NASCAR or race car driver, Speed Racer, or even an attractive 50's style bell hop. (The last costume is recommended for women only!)

Many of the car related costumes for children also are available for adults!
There are Speed Racer costumes for men and women (remember Speed's girlfriend Trixie?), as well as adult car air freshener and Ricky Bobby's costume from Taladega Nights.

Women who want to dress a little racier (sorry, I couldn't help the pun!) have a number of options, (some with more skin than costume but tasteful nonetheless.)
There is even a Halloween costume called the "Sexy VIP Red Carpet Valet Adult Costume" available from Spirit Halloween (see link below.)

Some of my favorites besides Speed Racer are his brother Racer X, the spruce tree air freshener, and the adult gecko costume from the Geico auto insurance commercials.

As mentioned, there are even a few pet costumes including the Fire or Police Hero Dog Costumes and a Batman Dog Costume perfect as a companion costume to an adult or child Batman. Perfect for a ride in the Batmobile! A rebirth of the dynamic duo no doubt!

You can also "dress up" your car for Halloween these days. There are black bat, purple witch, and pumpkin costumes for your automobile. They're more accessories than actual costumes. The purple witch costume for your car is a set of small broomsticks attached to each of the two front windows along with a small witch's head that attaches to the grill.

Finally, what would Halloween be without Halloween tunes to play on your car's CD player. All of the classics such as: Monster Mash, Time Warp, Ghostbuster's and Twilight Zone!

Whatever you do this Halloween, there is plenty of automobile related gear to satisfy all of the car enthusiasts in your life.
