Make Your Own Salad Dressings

Ranch Salad Dressing

3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 tsp. dried parsley
1/2 tsp. dried chives
1/4 tsp. dried dill weed
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Preparation -
Whisk all the ingredients together until well blended. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Creamy Italian Salad Dressing

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup white vinegar
1 T. lemon Juice
1 tsp. olive oil
2 T. white corn syrup, such as Karo® light corn syrup
2 T. Parmesan cheese
2 T. Romano cheese
1/4 tsp. garlic salt - or one clove garlic minced
1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. dried parsley

Preparation -
Mix all ingredients together. Beat with an electric mixer or process in a blender until well mixed. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Thousand Island Salad Dressing

1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 T. ketchup
1 T. cider vinegar
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. sweet pickle relish
1 tsp. diced sweet white onion
1/8 tsp. salt
dash of black pepper

Preparation -
Mix the ingredients together until well blended. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
