On your way to The Great Passion Play, be sure to arrive early enough to see the Parables of the Potter. Each evening, before the performance, the Potter stands at his wheel molding clay. As he works, he teaches from inspirational scripture passages.
You will also want to check out the New Holy Land Tour. You’ll need 2 ½ hours for this interactive Biblical teaching tour. You are transported by tram back into history. At stops along the way you meet characters presenting a living history of the scriptures.
- You’ll speak to a Priest in the full-scale replica of Moses’ Tabernacle in the wilderness.
- Visit the upper room where Jesus and His disciples feasted for the Last Supper.
- Walk beside the ‘Sea of Galilee’ with Simon Peter. Listen to him tell of his last days with Jesus.
Another favorite of mine is the Tabernacle Teaching Tour. The Levitical Priest explains the spiritual significance of the Tabernacle.
In the complex is a stunning feature that you won’t be able to miss. A seven story sculpture of Christ was created by Emmet Sullivan, one of the artists who sculpted Mount Rushmore. Called Christ of the Ozarks, it is open to the public 24 hour a day at no charge.
The Great Passion Play complex is a non-denominational ministry dedicated to sharing the knowledge of the teachings and inspirations of Jesus Christ.
All of the sites, except the Bible Museum are handicap accessible. Visit the website to learn more and to see pricing. The Great Passion Play.
