August's Top of the Web site is The Children's Literature Web Guide. The CLWG is an attempt to gather together and categorize the growing number of Internet resources related to books for Children and Young Adults.
The author of the site is David K. Brown, a librarian at the Doucette Library of Teaching Resources. His goal is to promote literature through electronic resources. His not-so-secret plan is to lure children and adults from the Internet and back to books.
This is an excellent site, pulling together many resources into a user friendly space.
Included in the listing of links are Research Guides and Indexes, Teaching Ideas for Children's Books, Resources for both Parents and Teachers.
