Belly Dancer Leela will perform at the Fabulous Avalon Hollywood on October 15, 2006, along with other performers such as Mesmera, Willow Chang, Princess Farhana, Aparecida, Kristina Carizares and the Nekyia, Rachel Lazarus Soto, Miss Sparkle Diamond, Danielle and many more! If you are in the area, or know someone, pass the word. This is a great opportunity to be among your sisters in dance.

Leela was voted Best Dance Instructor in Glendale in 2003, 2004, and 2005. With this upcoming show, there is no doubt that she will be voted once again. Just take a look at the photo gallery from the performances in the past. In 2004, the theme of Leela’s show was Kiss of the Dragon, and 2005 it was The Elements of Fantasy. The announcement flyer for each show is unique and colorful.

Not only will she perform with other dancers, but she will perform with her own troupe, SalomeJihad. The women in her troupe are real women, and they are from all occupations. All of Leela’s students have the opportunity to be apart of her troupe.

You will also notice in Leela’s website that there are several classes that she offers. The neat thing that I noticed was that a beginner’s class is just ten dollars per session. Leela invites all to attend her class, in that there is “no registration required, just come to class!”.
