I guess you have sometimes found very (or quite) difficult to pronounce some Spanish words, specially if they are very long, that is, words with four or more syllables, right? There is an easy way to read / pronounce those "laaaaargas" words! Just divide a word in two (or three) parts, and pronounce them (those parts) separately. The first time, it won't be very easy, but don't give up as, the more you try, the better you'll do it. It is just a question of practice. For example, this word: "polisílaba". Let's divide it in two parts: "poli-" and "-sílaba". Now, try again. First one part, and then the other. As soon as you feel comfortable with the pronunciation of both parts, try to pronounce them all together, that is, the complete word. Do it several times, until you got it. Hope it helps! |
