Many people think that Canaries don't play, but I know they enjoy playing with suitably sized toys and Lou knows that they play with other birds as well as toys. It must have been cute watching the two of them play together and I'm glad Lou took the time to get a picture of the fun.
Canaries also enjoy getting out of the cage to fly around and socialize, both with the people in the family as well as other birds. Flying is good exercise for all birds.
