Knotwork Patterns

I love Celtic knotwork, and was planning to post a pattern for Saint Patrick's Day. I got carried away. Graphing out the knots was a lot of fun. So here are a 2 bracelet patterns, 4 barrette patterns, and 2 earring patterns, plus a great big dragonfly pattern. They are designed in odd count or brick stitch, do them in whichever stitch you feel most comfortable in.
You can find more information on the method I use for odd count peyote here.
First the barrettes. Originally I designed all the patterns in light green, dark green and gold, but since they can be done effectively with 2-3 colors, choose the colors you like.
In 2 colors, the patterns will look something like this.

My original color scheme.

I really like the look of this one.

Triangle knot variation of the above pattern.

Some brick stitched earrings. You can find more information on brick stitch here.

The bracelets. These are sort of wide bracelets, at 25 beads wide, they will wind up being nice cuffs. I usually use 2 beaded toggle clasps for bracelets this wide, because after the hours spent beading them, I want the perfect clasp.

Here's the biggie. After spending so many hours graphing Celtic knotwork inspired patterns, I wondered if I could graph a dragonfly. I did, and it's huge. I would love to see it if anyone beads it. Please post pictures in the forum

Beader Jennifer Bragg beaded this up. I love how it looks. Thank you Jennifer for sending me the picture.

For more information including great tutorials on drawing knots, check out Aon Celtic Art. In her freeware section, she even has a gorgeous pattern for a spiral bracelet, and several cross stitch patterns that could be adapted to square stitch or loom.
If you like these patterns, you can buy my ebook which features these and 6 more bracelet patterns here.
I also have the e-book available in my Etsy store here. It's only 3 dollars, so 50 cents each for the 6 bracelet patterns!
