Preparation - In a large mixing bowl, combine the corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, vanilla and eggs; beat well. Stir in the chocolate chips and pecans. Spread the mixture evenly in an unbaked 9" pie crust. Bake in a preheated oven at 325° for 20 minutes. Cover top edge of pie crust with a narrow strip of foil to prevent over browning. Return to the oven and bake at 325°F. for 40 more minutes or until the filling is set. Remove the pie from the oven and cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
