So Into You

Hello, and welcome back! It's still hot and miserable here, and oh, I cannot wait until fall gets here! At least I can stay inside in the air conditioning most of the time. Of course, that means no weeding gets done, but I'd rather have weeds than a heat stroke. That also means I've worked my way mostly through the August review books stack already.

This time out, I have Sandra Hill's latest, So Into You (Grand Central). Tante Lulu is back, this time matchmaking for Grace O'Brien and Angel Sabato. You'd think it would be easy, right? After all Angel's already in love with her, and they've spent quite a bit of time together working with the LeDeauxs over the years. But when Angel confesses his feelings for her, Grace breaks his heart. But Angel isn't a man to give up on the love of his life quite that easily, so when Tante Lulu needs him to help build a house for a family who lost theirs in Katrina, it seems like a good thing to do to keep him close to Grace, who also happens to be helping this same family. But Grace has been keeping a secret from Angel, and everyone else, for that matter, and not her secret is about to come out, whether she likes it or not, and she just knows that isn't something Angel will appreciate. With a Sandra Hill romance, you know even before you crack the front cover that you're bound to get some laughs as you read. You also know you're in for one steamy romance, and with a hunk of a hero like Angel, you won't be disappointed. Grace and Angel's story is absolutely fantastic for a beach read: it's funny, super-sexy, and you get to revisit all your favorite characters from previous stories. If you haven't read a book by Sandra Hill before, this one will definitely get you hooked. That's the thing with favorite authors: once you've read all their books, sometimes you wish you hadn't yet, so you could do it all over again. I'm borrowing four of Cupid's five arrows for this one. It's going right onto my Sandra Hill shelf.

Until next time, happy reading!
