Using Ser and Estar Videos

Knowing it isn't always very easy to distinguish when to use either "ser" or "estar" in Spanish, I have found some interesting and informing videos to help you understand how it works. It's visual learning! Although there are some available articles about the use of these two verbs (Verbs ser and estar, Spanish Quiz - Verbs Ser and Estar.) I think watching a video can also help, and it will help you remember the uses of these two verbs, "ser" and "estar".

So, enjoy and learn!

The first video is Expressing "To Be" in Spanish Using Ser, Estar and Haber. As shown on this video description, "This video focuses mainly on the differences between ser and estar when expressing forms such as am, is, are, was and were in Spanish." This is an interesting video. Professon Jason presents some examples, to understand how these two verbs must be used.

The second video, Ser vs Estar Spanish Lesson, by Aaron Losness, covers the rules for these verbs, their conjugations (present, preterite, imperfect, conditional Indicative) and some examples and tests.

Finally, with our third video, Spanish Verbs: Ser & Estar, you'll learn / review the conjugation of Estar in present (indicative) and some examples and exercises to learn how to use either Ser or Estar, together with some explanations.

These three videos are just a sample, as you can find lots of information -videos- about Ser and Estar in YouTube. I hope you find them useful!
