Stuffed Appy's For the Stuffing Party

I am feverishly working on some great invitation stuffing party menus, as well as the recipes for those who are inclined. We just did a great stuffing party, and I am going to list the great menu we came up with. This also included some store bought items.

Here we go with the list and the recipes and recommendations.

Stuffed Mushrooms
Ingredients
12 Whole fresh mushrooms
1-tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4-teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Clean mushrooms with a damp paper towel. Carefully break off stems. Chop stems extremely fine, discarding tough end of stems.
2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and chopped mushroom stems to the skillet. Fry until any moisture has disappeared, taking care not to burn garlic. Set aside to cool.
3. When garlic and mushroom mixture is no longer hot, stir in cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, onion powder and cayenne pepper. Mixture should be very thick. Using a little spoon, fill each mushroom cap with a generous amount of stuffing. Arrange the mushroom caps on prepared cookie sheet.
4. Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the mushrooms are piping hot and liquid starts to form under caps.
We added rendered bacon to this mix and it turned out superb, as with bacon the amount is up to you.

Ham and Cheese Bundles
1 roll (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 can (5 to 6 ounces) lean chunk ham, drained
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
2 green onions, with green, thinly sliced
Dash pepper
sesame seeds
Preparation:
Heat oven to 375°. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
With a fork, mix the ham with mustard, cheese, green onions, and pepper.
Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into 4 rectangles. Taking one rectangle, pinch the diagonal perforations together firmly and cut rectangle in half crosswise to make 2 squares. Place about 1 1/2 tablespoons of filling on each square and spread out. Roll up and pinch seams. Place on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining rectangles. Roll each bundle gently in sesame seeds and return to the baking sheet.
These are just a couple of the great recipes we used, we also included, store bought frozen egg rolls, Taquitos, stuffed strudels with cream cheese and strawberries, made from frozen puff pastry.
Use your imagination for stuffed items, it’s a great theme for a great event. This is Sandra Sable going to go put together a wedding. You can email me any questions, I will happily respond.
