Pambra's Bra Liners Review

Brief History: Pamela Haven, a stay at home mother of three, had a dream, a vision, and a little help from an angel when she developed Pambra's Bra Liners. Bra liners are designed for anyone who wears a bra and suffers from perspiration under and between the breasts. It provides comfort against elastic and/or underwires. Her company also carries unilateral and bilateral bra liners for women suffering from mastectomies and nursing pads for breast feeding mothers.

Pambra's, L.L.C. is located in Springdale, AR and offers bra liners for wholesale to garment companies but there is a listing of where their products can be found both in store and online at their official website.

Product: Pambra's Original Bra Liners (Large)

Description: Shell is 65% cotton, 35% polyester. Filler is 100% cotton. It is available in sizes small (14" across) to xx-large (36" across). Note: The 2x isn't the same as clothing sizes.

Packaging: Pambra's Original Bra Liners come in a package of three (one color).

Price: $15.95 - $21.95 per package of three depending on retailer.

Comments: When Pamela contacted me to review her bra liner I was actually quite excited. For years I have suffered with perspiration under my breasts (even when I was younger with less boobage). It is not uncommon for me to have to change my bra half way through the day hot and humid days of summer.

When looking at the sizing information for the original bra liner on the Pambra website I was a bit confused. According to my band size (42) the chart recommended an xlarge which has a length of 30". With tape measure in hand 30" would wrap around to my back. I learned from watching their video presentation that a proper fit comes to just under the arms. From talking with Pamela via email I learned that the actual size has to do more with how far you would like the liner to go. It was finally decided a large (26") would be best.

As you can see from the image and video, the bra liner is a simple piece of fabric that has a thin layer of soft filling. Looking at it there is nothing really remarkable. After watching the directions video I immediately applied the bra liner to the bra I was wearing, a wireless cotton bra. It is as easy to apply as it looks. I went out to do some yard work and completely forgot I was wearing it until I came in for my shower and went to remove my bra. The bra liner was still perfectly in place. I was impressed -- I expected it to shift a little or to have one of the ends drift but it didn't appear to have moved at all. I slipped the damp bra liner out and was happy to see that my bra was dry where normally it would have been soaked in the band and up through the cup.

Into the wash the bra liner went. I have washed it twice with the regular whites and threw it in the dryer with some t-shirts. The fabric came out a little softer but all the stitching seems to have remained intact. I haven't noticed any shrinkage.

The pricing seems to be reasonable. The average price for online retailers is $17.95. Some shops offer a discount if you purchase more than one package. Of the online shops I visited Kathy's Curvy Corner seems to offer the best price/shipping and ships internationally.

Satisfaction: High! I would highly recommend this product to any woman who wears a bra (soft or underwire). I can see this actually increasing the life of my bras because they won't have to be washed as often. This is especially important for my specialty underwire bras.

Visit Pambra's official website for online and in-store locations.

Disclosure: Pambra provided a set of bra liners to me free of charge.
