Following the careers and lifestyles of celebrities is always fun. Celebrities are often the trendsetters and fashionistas of the world. This proves true in the vehicles they drive and modes of transportation they use. I have listed some well known celebrities and the type of motorcycles they have ridden. Some may be surprises to you and some may ride exactly what you thought they would be riding.
Let's start with, Steve McQueen, famous actor and motorcycle enthusiast. Steve road tested motorcycles of all kinds. His very first motorcycle was a Harley Davidson and he later developed a passion for dirt bike racing. He collected over 100 classic motorcycles during his lifetime.
The author of “Lawrence of Arabia”, known as T.E. Lawrence had a passion for motorcycles. In the movie, "Lawrence of Arabia" they accurately portray the author in a scene riding his motorcycle. He rode an English made Brough Superior motorcycle.
Lauren Hutton, first of the Vogue super models, former playboy bunny, adventuress and actress rides a BMW F650.
Elvis Presley, king of rock and roll, rode a Harley Davidson panhead.
Marlon Brando, famous actor, rode a Harley Davidson.
James Dean owned several brands of motorcycles. He started with a Czech Whizzer, then owned a Harley, a Triumph, a Norton, and an Italian Lancia scooter.
Ann Margaret, famous sultry actress became famous on a Triumph T100, but now opens her Vegas shows with a Harley Davidson.
Ann Richards, former governor of Texas began riding a Harley Davidson Sportster at age 60.
Roy Rogers, famous cowboy singer and actor, after retiring his stirrups, chose to ride a steel horse.
Rosie O’Donnell, comedian, talkshow host, and actress rides a Ducati Monster.
Wynonna Judd, country singer, rode a Harley Davidson Heritage.
