Things you need: Shells or a smooth rock Permanent Fine Point Marker | Optional: Hot glue gun Water color paints Clear spray paint |
For the rocks:
You can write the name of the beach or town on it with the marker. If you found some small shells, consider gluing them on with a hot glue gun.
For the shells:
Shells are porous enough to hold the color from water color paints. Your children will enjoy painting them. Once they are dry, spray a coat of clear spray paint on the shells. When the clear coat is dry, write the name of the beach on the shell. Of course, you can simply write on the shell without painting it too!
