Strawberry Sauce for Waffles, Pancakes, or Ice Cream
3 T. brown sugar
1 T. cornstarch
1/2 cup orange juice
1 pint strawberries - washed, hulled and sliced into halves
Preparation - Combine the sugar, cornstarch, and orange juice in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Reduce heat to low. Stir in the strawberries and cook for one more minute. Serve warm or chilled.
