You will need
4 mm firepolish faceted beads (45)
4 mm bugle beads
size 11 seed beads
silamide size A or Nymo size D
beading needle
Gossasmer Floss
2 Big Eye needles or twisted wire needles (pliers if using twisted
wire needles)

I prefer Gossamer Floss for this because of the amount of stretch it has.
Start by threading your beading needle with about 2 yards of thread and string on a stop bead, then string on beads in this order, 3 size 11´s,bugle, size 11, firepolish,size 11,bugle, repeat 14 more times.Remove the stop bead and tie off thread to form a ring.

Now add in a second row, using the firepolish as the joining beads

Tie off the end of the thread, and weave all ends in. Thread the Gossamer Floss onto one of the twisted wire needles, and use the pliers to shut the eye closed, or on one of the Big Eye Needles ,I prefer to work off the card of floss, that way I never cut too much or too little to knot it off securely. Bring your needle through one of the firepolish beads, add 2, then bring it through the next fire polish bead.

When you go all the way around, end it off by tying the ends of the Gossamer Floss in a square knot, then weave then ends in through the firepolish beads in opposite directions.
Okay, this project (on top of being late, I´m sorry!!) was an excellent example of "There are no mistakes, only happy accidents and learning experiences".This was supposed to be a bracelet, and no matter what stitch I tried or anything I could not get the bracelet to work the way I wanted it, also I crochet, and love all the scrunchie designs for crochet, but designing a beaded (non crocheted) scrunchie was beyond me. It was totally by chance that I found my Gossamer Floss right after my 5th try getting the bracelet to work. I´m glad I did though. I think my niece will love the scrunchie.I will recommend she use it over a regular ponytail elactic though, I´m not sure how much strain the Gossamer Floss will take. I think I may play with the base of this design and see if I can make a freeform style stretchy bracelet of it and a few other things too. So it was both a happy accident and learning experience. (And for all the people who were online chatting with me while I was working on it.
Don´t blow my cover!! I´m coming off like I handled it well when it didn´t work! LOL)
